TITTLE: Long term observation and research of ecological environment in city and city group
ABSTRACT:
The typical characteristics of cities and city groups are densely populated, landscape fragmentation, lack of natural resources, severe environmental problems, and serious ecosystem interference. The long-term positioning observation research in urban area could understand the changes of ecological environment in real time and reveal the structure, function and influencing factors of urban ecosystem under high-intensity human disturbance. In recent years, relying on the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Eco-environmental Change and Management Observation and Research Station and Shanghai Urban Forest Ecosystem Research Station, we focus on the response and feedback of urban ecosystem to high-intensity human disturbance through continuous positioning monitoring, remote sensing observation, traceability analysis, big data modeling and other means, combined with natural location, human activities, industrial structure and other factors, which improve the quality of ecological environment effectively and ensure the safety of urban living environment.
