TITTLE: Research progress on reduction technology of ammonia emission from agricultural sources
ABSTRACT:
Ammonia (NH3) is one of the key components involved in the atmospheric nitrogen cycle. The overabundance of NH3 is suggested to promote the formation of secondary ammoniated aerosol particles, greenhouse effect and water eutrophication. High ammonia emissions from agricultural source in China became one of the most important reasons of haze. Therefore, it is urgent to understand ammonia emission sources and emission characteristics, obtain accurate emission coefficient and carry out effective measures to reduce the ammonia emission from agricultural sources.
This report will focus on the NH3 emission from agricultural source in China resulted from inappropriate management of nitrogen fertilizer and livestock waste. The monitoring methods, environmental factors and reduction technology of ammonia emission will be addressed and discussed.
